Oskol Bearing Plant "HARP"

Major sphere of activity is production of bearings under HARP Trademark for application in rail-stock transport.

Due to Project plan, there (within 3 years and in several phases) is to be built a new bearing-production plant with most innovative technology processes. To realize the Project, IG UPEC intends to draw over $40 million investments thereto.

This plant in Russia will concentrate most labor-consuming and science-based stages of technological processes in manufacture of bearing-products, to ensure their advanced technical parameters, quality and consumer properties.

The main task is a yield of novel articles elaborated by IG UPEC enterprises (involving potential of VNIIZHT and VNIIPP), with complex servicing support thereto.

 Design capacity of Oskol Bearing Plant "HARP" will make up either: (a) 600.000 items of CRB-type (conventional short-cylinder roller bearing for rail- stock transport, at 23.5 t/ f axle-load), or (b) 300.000 items of CRU-type (a novel cylinder-duplex bearing feasible of extending rail-stock inter-repair run from usual 360.000km to 800.000km, at 23.5 t/ f axle-load), plus 120.000 items of TBU-type (cassette type conical bearings for new-generation rail-carriages, at axle-load over 25 t/ f).
