He was born in Dnepropetrovsk on August, 7, 1957.
Education: in 1974, he finished the secondary school with the gold medal; in 1980, he graduated with honors from “Kharkov Institute of Radioelectronics”.
Не carries on business since 1990.
Since 1995 – the founder and Director General of “UPEC”.
Since 2001 – President of “UPEC”.
From 2002 to 2006: Honorary President of UPEC, People’s Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the forth convocation according to voting district №180, Chairman of Economic Affairs Subcommittee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
Awarded with Order of merit of the third class, Certificate of honor and lapel badge of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine “For merits before Ukrainian people”.
Since June, 2006 – President of UPEC.
Since October 2008, was elected as a chairman of the Council of Associations of employers, Kharkiv region and a chairman of the Kharkov Regional Association of employers «Granit». Member of the Federation Council of Employers.
Married, has two sons.
Industrial Group UPEC
The Industrial Group UPEC (IG UPEC) is one of the biggest in Ukraine private companies, specialized in machine building business; it is manufacturer of components, assemblies and equipment to railway, automotive, agricultural, machine-building and metallurgical industries. JSC Kharkov Bearing Plant
JSC Kharkov Bearing Plant (JSC HARP) based in 1947, specializes in production of ball bearings of common industrial appointment and roller bearings for railway transport. Plant is the leader in CIS on bearings manufacture for the agricultural machine-building enterprises. HARP output also uses in automotive, mining and electrical engineering industries, metallurgy. The established capacity is about 30 million bearings per year. Since 2000, quality management system that corresponds to the requirements of international standards ISO-9001/2000SO-9000 has been working at the enterprise.
JSC Lozovaya Forging-Mechanical Plant
JSC Lozovaya Forging-Mechanical Plant is the biggest forging-and-stamping and mechanical assembling enterprise in Ukraine and CIS. Plant’s specialization – mass serial production of 300 various forgings, production capacity – up to 180 thousand tons of forgings per year. Plant represents itself as a diversified enterprise; it is a leader in manufacturing of the following products: axles for tractors, road-building machines, axles for buses, components for rolling stocks. Nowadays LKMZ manufactures axles with max. load capacity from 3 up 4.2 tons and occupies more than 80 % of CIS market in axles manufacturing for road-transport machines in the given load capacity segment.
